When I was young, I set out to change the world. Now that I'm older, everyday I set out to change myself. I try to learn something I didn't know yesterday. I make it a point to love and really appreciate what life has provided me. Yes, even the lessons it's taught me, for they've made me the person I am today. Most importantly I practice forgiveness. Not only forgiving myself of past mistakes (lessons) but also forgiving those that aren't on the same path I walk. I understand that we're not all going to the same destinations and not everyone I meet is moving forward, ahead on their journey. That isn't to say I can't learn from them or perhaps explore their path too. Relax, it only life! Smile and be in this moment. For it is only this moment we truly have.

Meditation helps slow down my hyper-active, always analyzing the world around me, somewhat twisted, often forgetful, incredibly amazing, yet simple, human mind.
