I’m a recently separated sociology PhD student looking to meet new people with similar interests and hobbies. I love hiking, cycling, fine and low brow art, horror films, crime dramas, true crime, dance, and eating delicious food. I don’t drink, smoke, or do drugs but I love a good NA beer, wine, or mocktail. I’m from Texas and have a Doberman with floppy ears. She is a super sweet dog! I would describe myself as progressive and left leaning and am passionate about issues such as racial and gender equality and immigration rights. I do spend a lot of time working on research and teaching but think it’s super important to have a work life balance that allows you to enjoy life.
